My child is sick. Can he still participate in therapy today?

In an effort to keep everyone well and not spread illness to our families, sick children are not permitted to participate in therapy in the home or our Skill Building Centers. If a child becomes sick while in the Puzzle Piece Kids Skill Building Center, the parent/caregiver will be notified immediately and the child must leave and return when better. A doctor's note may be required (depending on illness) before your child can participate in therapy.

What constitutes sickness?

Green/Yellow runny nose, coughing, fever, diarrhea, vomiting, unidentified rashes. If a child has allergies that imitate cold or flu symptoms, documentation may be requested indicating the nature of the allergy symptoms. If your child contracts a contagious illness (ie. flu, mumps, chicken pox, pink eye, strep throat), please notify Puzzle Piece Kids Skill Building Center’s front office so that we can watch for other cases in other children or therapists that your child may have come in contact with.

Do you accept CareCredit?

Yes! We accept CareCredit to payment for ABA and Speech Therapy services.

Do you take Medicaid plans or CHIP for ABA Therapy?

Unfortunately, Medicaid or CHIP does not cover ABA therapy. We do accept these insurances for Speech Therapy services.
